A Whole New Look
Imagine...white
walls; aging, traditional walnut furniture; & a master bathroom lacking a
fresh, newness
to greet each day. Desiring color produced with a cloudy softness;
updated furniture without
having to purchase a new, expensive set & a lighthearted effect in the
bathroom,
some great ideas became a reality.
The furniture was painted white & distressed, along with new handles (not so
easy to find due
to the width of the previous handles). A blue, cheeseclothed finish
was produced in the bedroom.
The bath received a spirited, 4-in., striped finish consisting of a solid,
blue stripe
& the "bedroom" cheeseclothed finish stripe.
The client completed the look with her handmade quilt, window treatments,
some new artwork & new carpeting.
She could not be happier!
