Plain Concrete Will
Never Be The Same!

These homeowners desired an old world feel & texture to many
aspects of their home.   Their concrete areas are not left out.
Originally this indoor porch area & front porch area were old, chipped concrete,
with some new added to add length to their areas.  Using colors to coordinate
with their indoor tiles, the same colors were utilized in the concrete overlay used
for this project.  The concrete overlay is extremely durable & is able to be used
both for interior & exterior surfaces.

The back porch area was previously created with a concrete stencil.  The "gray" areas
were where the stenciled lied & the brown areas were created with a concrete
additive sprinkled on the wet concrete.  Always desiring an aged effect, this technique
did not meet the clients' needs.
A concrete stain was washed over the previous finish & created the look the
client had originally desired.

Below are the original sample board for the interior room & the front porch &
the before shots of the back porch, stenciled concrete.
Below the pictures is a gallery of pictures showing the impressive after effects.

COUNTERS

Concrete overlays are not just for floors!
This homeowner was remodeling a lake cottage.  The countertops were a lovely
turquoise, reminiscent of the early 70's.
With several layers of Skimstone, these counters were transformed into colors
compatible with the decorating colors of this era.
