Let's Fold Some Clothes!

Though not the first room you would want to put all your decorating dollars into,
the laundry room is one of the rooms one can put a lot of time in...not all
fun time.

So, why not make it a pleasant place to be?
This homeowner made it happen!

To coordinate with the rest of the home's excellent Mediterranean decorating style,
an old world finish utilizing colors from the home was used on the walls.  To really create
a total look, the Fifth wall...the ceiling...was enhanced with a soft, cheesecloth
finish.

You will notice the dark, cocoa brown border dividing the wall & ceiling finish.  That color
was selected to assist with bringing in a most spectacular covering that was created on
the existing Formica counter top.
The counter top finish - Skimstone Concrete overlay.

Skimstone can be placed over new & existing concrete, either interior or exterior.
As in the case, it can be placed on Formica, too!
